This assessment is timed and designed to measure speed and accuracy in typing. This assessment allows the 5 minutes to type passages into a simulated word processing document. Test takers will need a printed text original for this type of evaluation. The reading level of this assessment ranges from the 10th to 12th grades. This typing test uses the following formula to determine the Net Words Per Minute score: Net Words Per Minute = Gross Words Per Minute - Total Errors. Localized for use in the UK.

Candidates may use either the keyboards numeric keypad or the number keys at the top of the keyboard. The test has a total of 26 records, and it is designed such that most candidates will not complete the test. This test is available in US English, UK English, and Australian English.
